Navneet Singh Bindra, SVP & Chief Country Executive at Ingram Micro India, shares insights into how Ingram Micro is positioning itself at the forefront of the rapidly evolving technology distribution industry.
What major trends do you see shaping the future of the technology distribution industry, and how is Ingram Micro positioning itself to stay ahead of these trends?
Over the last few years, the technology distribution industry has undergone a radical transformation and is currently at a pivotal juncture. We witness a wide range of emerging technology and business trends that disrupt the market completely, and some of the most prevalent ones are digital transformation, customer centricity, remote work and support, and value-added services.
To stay ahead of these trends, we have taken multiple far-sighted initiatives. We have embraced digital transformation wholeheartedly, and the launch of our “Digital Twin” – Ingram Micro Xvantage – is a major accomplishment in this direction. It’s an intelligent digital experiential platform that enables our associates, partners, vendors and customers to get ready for the digital era of doing business and perform a wide range of transactions and interactions digitally. Ingram Micro Xvantage enables our partners and customers to streamline their operations and achieve operational efficiency most conveniently. Thus, it has also been playing a pivotal role in enhancing customer experience.
The tech distribution space has been impacted extensively due to the shift toward remote work models, and we have seen a rise in the demand for remote support. Ingram Micro Xvantage allows our partners to seek support online and interact with experts. Our partners can perform a wide range of tasks related to product search, quotes, order placement, order tracking, performance monitoring, etc., and even seek support from competent experts through Xvantage.
