MORE RANGE, MORE REASONS TO GO ELECTRIC
BW Businessworld
|June 28, 2025
The MG Windsor EV Pro offers a long driving range, a spacious tech-rich cabin and the confidence of a CUV platform. It’s a refined, practical electric crossover built for both city roads and rough terrains of weekend getaways. Essentially, imagine electric mobility upgraded!
WHEN JSW MG MOTOR launched the Windsor EV, it quickly became one of India’s best-selling electric vehicles. Now, with the Windsor EV Pro, MG (Morris Garages) has taken things up a notch. I spent a full day behind the wheel of this new variant, driving through city traffic, open highways, and even took a brief trip to the outskirts. Here’s what stood out for me.
It was 6 a.m. and the sun had begun to climb over the Guwahati skyline. As the city woke up to another day, I had the keys to MG’s latest upgrade — the Windsor EV Pro, now reborn with a smarter mind and a heart that beats quieter and longer.
At first glance, it felt as if the car hadn't only been updated, it had grown up. The Aurora Silver paint glistened like morning dew and the new 18-inch dual-tone alloys looked ready for business. As I slipped into the cabin, I was suffused with a sense of calm with clean lines, soft-touch surfaces, and the promise of a quiet journey ahead. This wasn't going to be just another test drive. It felt like a conversation with the future.
The plan was simple: drive through the city, hit the highway and head to Umiam Lake near Shillong. It’s a route with a bit of everything - traffic, open roads, hill climbs, and tight corners. It was a perfect setting to test the Windsor EV Pro and how it handles everyday conditions and a bit more. But before I tell you about my experience, let's take a closer look at what this upgraded EV has to offer.Styling That Turns Heads
