EX-FORMULA 1 DRIVER Nico Rosberg knows alot about going fast, but since hanging up his helmet in 2016 he has dedicated himself to promoting environmental causes and sustainable living. And if he finds himself in the market for a new car, we reckon the new Skoda Eltog vRS might be right up his street.

That's because the vRS takes everything which we love about the regular Elrog - our reigning Family Electric SUV of the Year - and adds some serious punch. With two electric motors producing a total of 335bhp, it’s substantially more powerful than the existing Elrog 85. It should also be able to put all that power down without any trouble, because this is the only Elrog to get four-wheel drive.

As a result, the Elrog vRS can sprint from 0-62mph in 5.4sec - quicker than the entrylevel Porsche Macan Electric. It’s worth noting, however, that the Hyundai loniq 5 N and Smart #1 Brabus are quicker still.
