ULTRAVIOLETTE F77

The Ultraviolette F77 has put India on the global map of electric motorcycles, particularly in terms of EV tech and innovation.

For 2025, the brand has rolled out a major software update in the form of a new ride mode called Ballistic+, promising a sharper throttle response and improved mid-range performance without changing the core hardware.

imageAnd while this update might sound simple, it's also the stepping stone for Ultraviolette's next big move, its European expansion.

Visually, nothing has changed. The F77 still looks like it has rolled out of a motor show, with its angular panels, sharp LED headlamp and compact tail. The fit and finish have improved further, the plastics feel tighter, and the overall build gives off a premium vibe. The trellis frame is neatly tucked in, the aerodynamic bodywork adds to its sense of speed, and despite the weight of 207kg, the motorcycle doesn't come across as bulky. Swing a leg over and the ergonomics are familiar-sporty but not extreme. The clip-ons are low but you can always get the Super Street, the 800mm seat height feels approachable, and the padding is supportive enough to keep you comfortable over time.
