The 2025 Yezdi Roadster brings a series of thoughtful updates to the table, primarily in the form of a new engine and reworked tail section. After spending some time riding this updated roadster on a stunning route from Madurai to Madikeri, it’s safe to say that the Roadster is a much more polished package than before, although it still has a few rough edges that give it the unique character we expect from a Yezdi.

imageThe most significant update on the 2025 Roadster is the Alpha Two Series engine—a liquid-cooled unit we've already seen in the Yezdi Adventure and Java 350. What makes this engine so special for the Roadster is its improved power delivery, particularly in the low-to-mid range, which makes for a much more responsive and engaging ride. The rear fender have been redesigned, and the rear swingarm is completely new. The tail section is tidier, and you now get a slightly chunkier rear tire to match the bike’s sporty stance.

But it’s not all about looks—there’s a lot more substance too. The suspension setup has been overhauled, and the preload is now adjustable without the need for any tools. A nice touch for riders who like to fine-tune their ride on the go. This update brings a more comfortable experience, especially on long hauls like the one we're about to take.
