You can choose from innumerable issues to disagree with and start a petition about: celebs jumping queues, politicians making us stand in queues, passengers refusing to follow queues, and staff members failing to manage any. Fair play awardees selling fairness creams, influencers promoting betting apps and Bollywood icons selling paan masala. What can we do? Set up an account, and by Tuesday afternoon, you are sorted for the week. Likes, shares, and reposts are done. The purpose of our lives reveals itself before the second chai-samosa break at 3 pm, a clean, cost-free, and deeply satisfying outrage calendar. We feel good about ourselves, and the annihilation of doomscrolling guilt is a bonus. We haven't exactly pushed humanity’s needle forward, but there is always a better outrage around the corner. Consistency is key.
