Dragoon Selects Teledyne FLIR's Prism Software for Long-Range Unmanned Platform Prototyping

Teledyne FLIR OEM, a division of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, has announced that Dragoon has selected its Prism™ SKR and Prism Supervisor software to support Project Artemis, a Defence Innovation Unit (DIU) initiative aimed at developing advanced long-range loitering munitions for highly contested environments.

As part of the Artemis programme, Dragoon is prototyping a low-cost, long-range unmanned aerial system (UAS) named Cinder. The integration of FLIR's Prism software will provide advanced AI-based object detection, tracking, autonomous flight control, and real-time mission planning capabilities. “Combining our Cinder platform with Teledyne FLIR's Prism autonomy software offers enhanced capabilities for complex missions,” said Jason Douglas, co-founder
