Youdha enters the L5 EV segment with Epod, an electric three-wheeler designed for performance, durability, and India's evolving mobility needs

Youdha has unveiled its latest innovation, the Youdha Epod, an advanced L5 category electric passenger three-wheeler, aimed at transforming India's e-mobility sector. With this launch, the company establishes its presence alongside major EV manufacturers such as Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, Bajaj Auto, and TVS Motor Company, among others, positioning itself as a challenger brand as per Ayush Lohia, CEO, Youdha. The company aims to achieve a revenue target of Rs. 1000 crore by 2030 with an annual production capacity of one lakh units from its Kashipur, Uttarakhand plant.

THE L5 OPPORTUNITY
The L5 segment in India, comprising high-performance, road-compliant electric three-wheelers, has rapidly become one of the fastest-growing categories in the commercial EV market. This shift is driven by rising fuel costs, increasing last-mile connectivity needs, and favourable EV policies. With the starting price from Rs. 2.79 lakhs (ex-showroom), the Youdha Epod is designed to meet the key requirements of the L5 EV segment as a challenger brand.
