JUST HOW BADLY DOES Porsche want to one-up the 1020-hp Tesla Model S Plaid and the 1234-hp Lucid Air Sapphire with its new Taycan Turbo GT? Enough to ditch the rear seat (and 49 pounds with it) and the driver's-side chargeport door with its associated circuitry, requiring a whole new fender stamping, all to save weight. We can't help but respect the commitment.
