GRRR Nights X Underground Event Held in Pune

THE EVENT, ORGANISED by Royal Enfield, combined motorcycle culture and stunt showcases into one immersive street-culture experience. Centred around the big reveal of the Guerrilla 450 Shadow Ash colourway, a striking dual-tone matte olive green and black variant of the Dash model, GRRR Nights x Underground was held in Pune on the rooftop of the Amanora mall.

Jeet Tapaswi addressed the spectators about the importance of creating a safe culture around automobiles. Those present witnessed breathtaking car and motorcycle drifts, including tandem drift performances involving a Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 and a Mercedes C-Class, executed by pros like Jeet Tapaswi, Sanam Sekhon, and the legendary stunt athlete, Padma Prasanth.

A nostalgic moment for both automotive and movie fans came when some spotted the bright yellow Suzuki Bandit 1250S, exactly how it has been imprinted in their memories. For those wondering, this motorcycle is forever associated with a fun-loving character in a cult movie that, in many ways, kick-started the superbike culture in India. Its name rhymes with bloom and it also skyrocketed John Abraham as Bollywood's biking superstar. If you still haven't guessed it, well... Google is at your beck and call.

Royal Enfield’s generosity made it possible for some even to try their hand at motorcycle drift training astride the Guerilla 450 roadster, an experience that added a fresh twist to the event's adrenaline quotient. Anish Shetty, Royal Enfield GT Cup champion and PRN motor sport's chief instructor, tested and inspected the Guerilla 450 motorcycles for the “Drift Clinic” experience.
