MILEAGE 2933 WHY WE'RE RUNNING IT

To get experience of a new, rare and attractive form of plugin car It has taken me weeks to figure out the precise meaning of the multifarious economy and efficiency statistics available in various places in and around my Leapmotor C10 range-extender, mainly because there's just so much information available.

There are three key sources. There's a panel directly in the driver's view just to the right of the speedo. That measures fuel used in MPG (plus distance and time) since refuelling. It also gives you the rate of your electric power consumption since the last recharge. The car typically returns 46-52mpg, or 3.8-4.0mpkWh — both decent figures for a car of the C10's considerable size, weight and performance.
