BYD Seal arrives in India

BYD recently launched its electric sedan in the country, called the Seal. Build Your Dreams (BYD), which is a Chinese multinational conglomerate, has priced its latest product from Rs 41 lakh to Rs 53 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom). The company itself was founded in 1995 and is based out of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. BYD India was first established in 2007 and the Indian subsidiary already has two factories.
The company’s business in India covers electronics, electric forklifts, battery energy storage, electric buses, electric trucks and electric passenger cars. Currently, BYD has 24 showrooms across 21 cities in India.
