Facelifted Renault Austral breaks cover

Renault has revealed its revamped Austral mid-sized SUV, with claims that the facelifted car is “more desirable” and “more assertive” thanks to some major changes to the exterior.

The Austral is the maker's rivals for cars such as the Volkswagen Tiguan and Nissan Qashqai in what is the most popular sector of the UK’s new-car market. At the front, there's a new bonnet, bumper and grille to create a fresh face, with embossed diamond shapes around the Renault logo and slimmer headlights. The lights themselves feature a new signature with the company’s adaptive ‘LED Vision’ technology now standard fit.
