India Steel Expo 2025 brought together world steel leaders, inventors, and policymakers to exhibit innovations, encourage trade, and propel sustainable development, write Niharika Singh and Sahil Kesari

The sixth edition of the India Steel Expo 2025, the country's premier international steel industry exhibition and conference, was held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO) in Mumbai from April 24 to April 26, 2025. The event attracted over 250 exhibitors from both India and abroad, representing the entire steel value chain—from raw materials and equipment to innovative technologies and finished products. The participation of industry organisations, such as the Cold Rolled Steel Manufacturers Association (CORSMA) and the All India Induction Furnaces Association (AIIFA), provided a comprehensive overview of the industry's current state.
The show evolved into the primary venue for showcasing top priorities in steel production, equipment manufacturers, and solutions suppliers, as well as developing a plan for the future growth of the steel industry. Featuring the most advanced equipment and solutions, the show established itself as a reputable forum for discussing the future of the steel industry. The show brought together business people, governmental officials, and top nationals to share ideas, showcase accomplishments, and negotiate advantageous contracts. Professionals from all over the steel and ancillary industries descended on the event, including but not limited to engineers, builders, and producers of oil and gas. The intent was clear: to market their goods and services, get advantageous business relationships, and grow their companies while keeping an eye on the most recent market trends.
