EV And Auto Tech Innovation Forum 2025

As India accelerates toward an era defined by electrification, connectivity, and smart mobility, the EV & AutoTech Innovation Forum 2025 emerged as a pivotal gathering for industry stakeholders. Held at Taj Vivanta, Pune, and organised by Konnect Worldwide Business Media, the third edition of the forum saw more than 300 delegates spanning OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, EV startups, digital solution providers, and government bodies. The stake holders convened to deliberate on the future of transportation. With the theme “Shaping the Future of Mobility,” the forum offered a deep dive into ADAS, SDVs, data monetisation, and next-gen connectivity. Backed by MediaTek and ARAI, the event presented a comprehensive agenda packed with keynote speeches, panel discussions, and a tech demonstration zone. The event served as a knowledge-sharing arena where technology leaders, policy makers, and innovators dissected the latest mobility trends and solutions tailored for Indian roads.

The Rise of SDVs

The mobility transformation isn’t just about the shift from internal combustion engines to electric powertrains it’s about reimagining the entire architecture of vehicles. At the centre of this transformation is the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV), a paradigm where software takes the front seat in controlling key functions and features of vehicles, with updates enabled through over-the-air (OTA) technology.

Anuj Sidharth, Director – Marketing & Communication at MediaTek, highlighted how the SDV wave is influencing Indian automotive development. He explained, “India’s automotive sector is rapidly embracing smart mobility powered by 5G, AI, and advanced telematics. With 37 percent of vehicles sold in 2024 already connected, India is poised to become the fastest-growing connected car market.”
