Grid, pattern, repetition and symmetry are the four cornerstones of this apartment designed by Natasha Shah of Between Walls. Here, luxury meets timeless design, balancing grandeur with enduring comfort for a family of four
The Modern Mosaic talks about grid, pattern, repetition and symmetry," remarks Natasha Shah, founder of Between Walls. In the beginning, this may sound like a simple statement but as you traverse through the journey of this Pune home, you will realise there is an order to this assembled chaos.
Designed for a family of four, this 1,800 sq ft, 3.5 BHK residence in one of Pune’s most sought-after neighborhoods demonstrates how geometry, when cocooned by craft and emotion, can shape spaces that feel both elegant and luxurious. The brief was clear and quite nuanced; the homeowners wanted a bold space that exudes a sense of sophistication rather than ostentatious. Natasha.
Her firm’s ethos “A space that reflects your personality” shines through in this project, as she fused maximalism with hints of Art Deco, Neoclassical, and modern influences. No rigid theme binds the project; instead, it celebrates individual personalities in private realms while ensuring common areas excel at hosting.
