BEYOND THE LEGACY

Subash & Associates’ Chandigarh office is surprisingly understated, despite being a renowned architectural firm behind some of North India's most luxurious projects.

Located in Sector 34A, the office can be found with the help of a discreet sign. This humble facade belies the firm's impressive portfolio and reputation for delivering high-end designs with a blend of contemporary and practical elements. The office design of Subash & Associates, led by architect Subash Duggal and his son Ashwani, beautifully reflects their design philosophy and aesthetic leanings. The use of brick walls in their office space is a deliberate choice that not only creates an illusion of space but also adds an element of intrigue. This design element showcases their preference for natural materials and highlights their ability to incorporate them into innovative and functional designs. Their design approach is characterised by a minimalist aesthetic, where the absence of ornate interventions allows light to play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of the space. This design philosophy is reflected in their office space, where the strategic use of natural light creates a compelling visual experience.
