ARDETE HEADQUARTERS, MOHALI
May 2025 - Anniversary Special
|Architecture + Design
Studio Ardete's headquarters is rewriting the script of a modern-day workplace with its kinetic Meta Sequin facade and LEED Platinum-certified design. Championed by Badrinath and Prerna Kaleru, this office fosters collaboration and creativity through vertical zoning and passive cooling strategies
Where do we see ourselves in the next 10-20 years? What kind of energy do we want our workplace to have? How do we want our clients to feel when they walk into our office? What does our team need to be productive, healthy, and happy? How can we design our workplace for future relevance and sustainability?". The Ardete Headquarters, designed by and for Studio Ardete by Badrinath and Prerna Kaleru, is a well-thought-out and thoroughly proofed response to the above-listed five questions the architects asked themselves before designing their own workspace. Driven by a self-reflective brief, the Ardete HQ is a LEED Platinum-certified workplace where a kinetic facade and intuitive zoning create an environment that nurtures both people and the planet. "Less is more," Badrinath reflects, encapsulating a design ethos that marries purpose with elegance, setting a new paradigm for commercial architecture.
