The National Honey Show receives The King's Award for Voluntary Service

The National Honey Show, the world's largest honey show and beekeeping convention but run entirely by volunteers in Surrey, has been awarded The King's Award for Voluntary Service for 2025.

This is the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK and is equivalent to an MBE. The National Honey Show, now in its 103'rd year, is staged every October at Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher, Surrey. As well as being the world's largest honey show there are lectures from expert speakers, a variety of practical workshops and a comprehensive trade show.
All this is achieved entirely by a group of local volunteers.
