Alexandra Verhoef of Alpaca Evolution brings us up to date with what's happening on their alpaca farm

Life is never dull at Alpaca Evolution, and it is certainly far from predictable. As ever in the midst of all the goings on the alpacas have been receiving the usual high standards of care to keep them in tip top condition as we once again start to feel the joy of some sunshine and blue skies.
Whilst not everyone at Evolution is an avid reader the alpacas seem to have acquired quite the flair for books recently. They were invited to a local school to be the focal point for their World Book Day activities. Dutchy headed off with some of our “walking” boys and spent the morning delivering an assembly and chatting with the children who then went away to listen to some alpaca stories and write their own alpaca fact sheets. It is always great to participate in events like these which showcase the gentle nature and inherent wonder of the alpacas. They really are something quite special and Ernesto, Opus, Outlaw and Wise Guy have established yet another loyal fan base!!
