Nesting is a primal instinct of a bird or animal by which it builds and prepares a safe and germ-free environment for the protection of its offspring who is going to come into the world.
Human beings are known to have such nesting tendencies as well, which they do by way of cleaning and baby-proofing the house.
Experts have pointed out some tips that new mothers should keep in mind when preparing for the arrival of a newborn into the home. Some of these are:
a. Our hands and respiratory system are two of the major sources of infection. So, we should make sure that we thoroughly wash our hands and make it rid of all organic matter as well as use a hand sanitiser before handling an infant. Since premature babies have a weaker immune system, we need to be even more careful around them.
