Promise Of Safety

30th August, in reverence of celebrating festivals with envelopment dash my friends and I took our little ones for a small outing. Due to Corona in last year, kids had been confined to their homes and such visits were stalled.

Hence, on Janamashtmi when we asked how may we appease our little Krishnas and Radhikas, they jumped on occasion and declared to be taken out for at least a short visit of 2 hours somewhere around along with promising us that all Covid norms would be thoroughly followed by them.

Thankfully, Mysuru has many apt options within city limits for small excursions.

Our plan was to visit the recently renovated Rail Museum accompanied with a toy train ride and finally a stroll around Kukkarhalli Lake.

While leaving the museum at 5:30, suddenly my friend recalled that we should hurry up, as after 6:30 pm movements would be banned around the lake which falls in the vicinity of the Mysore University campus.

That order has been withdrawn yesterday itself, I made an attempt to counter. Still, we shouldn't take the risk of staying there after 6:30, or we should better drop the plan for the day she justified and we returned to our respective homes.
