Actress Reese Witherspoon has been spotted without her wedding ring, just days after looking decidedly unhappy as she walked around Malibu with husband Jim Toth.
The couple strolled separately, not talking and looking away from each other, leading onlookers to suspect there may be some cracks in their relationship.
Reese, 43, has recently bought a $9.9 million compound in Malibu in her name only, and it looks like her eight-year marriage to Jim, 49, might not be in a good place.
“Reese is slowly starting to carve out a new life for herself post-Jim and she’s hoping her new Malibu home will be a fresh start for her,” claims a source.
“She’s been telling friends how Jim will continue living at their Pacific Palisades home just a few miles away, which will make things easy with the kids who they both want to be close to.”
