Since that picture-perfect wedding day, the love story of the duke and duchess has blossomed, with the down-to-earth pair one of Britain’s most-loved and respected royal couples, thanks to their generosity and dedication to the crown. “When I first met Kate I knew there was something very special about her... we ended up being friends for a while and that was a good foundation,” says William.
