Sixteen years after their divorce, the stars are still struggling to settle down

Jennifer Aniston’s hinted she’s still haunted by her 2005 split from Brad Pitt, seemingly describing it in a new interview as “the hardest time” in her life.

And while the 52-year-old actress appears to have moved on – and even went through another marriage and divorce with fellow actor Justin Theroux since – sources say Brad, 58, is always at the back of her mind, and it’s holding her back from truly finding love. And Brad too is hung up on what was supposed to be their happy ever after.

“Everyone in Hollywood would be dying to be with Brad or Jen, and yet they don’t seem to commit to anyone else beyond casual dating,” says an insider close to the stars, who were married for five years.

“The only constant in both their lives over the past couple of years has been each other. They hang out all the time and go on little dates together. They’ve even gotten back into business together when Jen rejoined Plan B entertainment – the company they founded together when they were married that Brad took control of when they divorced.”

And while the pair insist they’re keeping things purely professional this time around, those in their camp aren’t quite convinced.
