Even Meghan and Harry screwed this one up. When the Queen requests you join her for turkey and charades at Sandringham, there's only one response: ‘Super, absolutely love to!’, not: ‘Er, we’d rather spend it in the LA sunshine/a soup kitchen/slumped in our onesies watching Netflix, thanks.’
