No matter how deep the rift became between Diana and The Firm, she would move heaven and earth to keep everyone together for Christmas.

Even if it meant smiling through gritted teeth at the Sandringham gathering, Diana was there for her boys.

So it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what she’d make of the cold war currently being waged between Prince William and Prince Harry.

‘The thought of them not being together for such a special occasion would break her heart, plain and simple,’ royal expert and author Duncan Larcombe tells Woman. ‘Especially with this being Archie’s first Christmas.’
