After delivering a power packed performance in the film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Ishita Raj Sharma speaks to about her journey and more.

Tell us about your journey into this industry.

Hailing from Delhi, I come from a non-filmy background. I always enjoyed watching movies, dancing and acting, which led me to start modelling in Delhi. I worked as a model for three months; after that got shortlisted for a TV serial. When I came for its look test to Mumbai, I bumped into the casting director and producers of the film (Pyaar Ka Punchnama) who asked me to come meet them. 10 days later, I was part of their project and that’s how I started my journey into films. My journey has taught me a lot— living independently in a big city like Mumbai, surviving in a competitive industry and struggling. With God’s grace I’ve reached where I am today, but I’m nowhere close to done yet!
