A nice blend of responsive interface and decent hardware in a sleek and lightweight body

Realme has been on a roll with aggressive releases in a wide range of product portfolios. The X7 5G joins the slew of other 5G ‘future ready’ smartphones in the under-25k space.
It is enough to look at a few phones from the recent past to understand the philosophy behind the X7’s beautiful design. The phone presents a minimalistic design without too much of a dazzling play of colours. The Space Silver finish we received presents a smooth and pleasing gradient of light in a frosted glass surface effected by, in the company’s own words, superthick indium and AG shower coatings. The phone is also available in Nebula finish, which presents colours in a nonspectral arrangement, for those who prefer a colourful design. The phone is slim and light, the Space Silver variant being 8.1 mm thick and weighing 176 g. This makes the phone very comfortable to use even with a somewhat slippery back. The UI feels light and responsive and provides a great experience with an intuitive design. The volume buttons are at the left, the power button at the right and the SIM card tray resides at the bottom along with the USB Type-C port.
