Fitbit’s Sense is trying something new – keeping its peepers on your mental health as well as physical. How does it do?

Going Mental
All the usual fitness features are here but there’s a particular focus on your mental health, with stress measurement and guided meditations upping your mindfulness quotient.
Fitbit’s new Sense is a slick-looking wearable, more like a wristwatch than a fitness device in terms of design. Which makes sense, because this is not a dedicated bit of fitness gear. It’s more of a whole-human monitor, with smartwatch features thrown in. But it could have done with a little specializing.
That’s because, while Fitbit’s basics are all still very well done, the newer features and upgrades could do with a little tweaking. The OS is a tad slow and some apps are less good than they used to be.
