Pure’s Elan IR5 is built for convenience. Available in black or white, it’s a compact, portable device that can be powered from the mains or four AA batteries (though it’s not compatible with Pure’s rechargeable ChargePAK). The front facia has a matt finish, while the body and rear of the radio is shiny. Personally, I would prefer it all matt as the glossy body tray tends to pick up fingerprints.
