It is difficult to argue on the topic of mobiles and that the mobile phones has made a bigger difference to our lives than any other invention in the last three decades. India has more than 900 mobile phone subscribers and a huge chunk of it belongs to tier-2 and -3 cities. The smartphones, tablets, mobile devices, and applications are helping the ‘Digital India’ initiative to make smarter choices.
As India marks its 68th year of independence, citizens have come a long way from visiting Internet cafes to being privy to multitude of information on their devices—Internet connected devices, televisions, and mobiles.
Of late, most radio listeners would be instantly familiar with the words ‘wallet’, ‘cashback’, or ‘cashless’—thanks to the relentless commercials extolling the virtues of these products. Every Internet user is bombarded with advertisements urging them to sign up for these wallets which promise many features and benefits.
