Welcoming Winter
Sporting Shooter
|January 2020
For Tim Bonner, the first frosts of winter and the November full moon mark the start of the most exciting part of the sporting year: the arrival of woodcock

This full moon presages the arrival of woodcock on our shores. It is the start of the best sport of the year. The woodcock are accompanied by hordes of other species, in particular wildfowl, that build in number with every night.
