The all-rounder had a below-par campaign with Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Mumbai Indians were in the fourth position before the league was suspended due to Covid-19 cases. Hardik scored just 52 runs in seven games and also didn’t bowl a single over.

Veteran India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh took to his official Twitter handle and apologized for his latest post on the 37th anniversary of Operation Blue Star. The 40-year-old recently paid a tribute to Khalistani terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and others, who were killed inside the Golden Temple during Operation Blue Star in 1984. Harbhajan shared a poster, featuring Bhindranwale on his Instagram story and captioned it, “Salute to the martyrs.” However, Harbhajan has now apologized for his “mistake” and clarified that he doesn’t support any terrorist. “I am a Sikh who will fight for India and not against India. This is my unconditional apology for hurting the sentiments of my nation,” he said.
