FIVE PAKISTANI PLAYERS WHO CAN RULE IPL IF ALLOWED
Cricket Today

Shoaib has really made himself as one of the topmost contenders in both the Pakistani T20 team and the T20 leagues around the world...
If there is any cricket league that can drive the mileage merely on its own reputation, then it is the Indian Premier League (IPL). The IPL is something that runs the show as far as cricket and the cricketing world is concerned. The cash-rich league is the cynosure of all eyes. The only thing that is missing in the IPL is the ‘desi’ flavor that the Pakistani players bring with them. The current lot of Pakistani cricketers hasn’t really had a chance to perform in the mega event, but if they play, it could well turn out to be a win-win situation for both the league organizers and the players.
SHOAIB MALIK
With 20 years of experience by his side, Shoaib has really made himself as one of the topmost contenders in both the Pakistani T20 team and the T20 leagues around the world. Making full use of his ability to deliver both with the bat and the ball and his fit body, Malik has so far played the most number of T20Is in the world. One of the top run-getters in the world cricket, the man from Sialkot has scored 2321 runs in 113 T20Is at a healthy average of 31.36 and a strike rate of 124.18. Malik has also been an avid contributor with the bowl as he has picked 28 wickets and his economy rate has remained just above seven. Malik has been one of the vastly experienced T20 campaigners around the world as the 38-year-old has played 386 and scored 9892 at a brilliant average of 37.46. His contribution in the leagues with the ball has been amazing as well, as he has picked up 147 wickets at an average of 27.08.
