The 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will get underway with a clash between a defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and last year's runners-up Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 26. The tournament, which will feature 10 teams, will end on May 29. The Delhi Capitals (DC), earlier known as Delhi Daredevils, have featured in every edition of the IPL since its inception. However, they are yet to win the trophy. They made the playoffs in 2019 and 2021 and finished runners-up in 2020. But they are still searching for that elusive crown.
