THE LAST WORD
Celtic View
|Vol 56 Issue 19
NEXT week the Christmas edition of the Celtic View will be out, which means this will be the last column I write in 2020.

It feels a bit early to be reflecting on the year with a whole month left but it’s been an eventful year, to say the least. There’s been no shortage of negativity around the world this year, but as 2020 winds to a close, I believe there’s cause for optimism.
It might be easy to forget for some given how quickly the world of football moves but 2020 was the year Celtic won nine-in-a-row. The club has existed for 133 years and Celtic have won nine-in-a-row twice.
Those achievements take a while to sink in and it’s worth savouring that incredible success, because we may never have those moments fresh in our memories ever again.
The players who made that possible are still here in the team and that experience will inevitably play a part in deciding where the league trophy ends up at the end of the season.
