Stephen Welsh on being recalled from loan, making his debut in the starting XI, and pushing for more first-team involvement

THIS time two weeks ago, Stephen Welsh was on loan at Greenock Morton and preparing for a trip to Tannadice in the Scottish Championship. Now, he’s back at Celtic, having marked his senior-side debut with a place in the Hoops’ starting XI for their 4-1 win over Hamilton Accies on Sunday.
Add that to a spot on the subs’ bench against Ross County at Paradise the previous weekend, and things are clearly going well for the 20-year-old defender since being recalled from Cappielow. Now, the Youth Academy star wants nothing more but to continue working hard on the training pitch at Lennoxtown to keep himself in manager Neil Lennon’s plans moving forward.
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR DEBUT. HOW DID YOU FIND IT?
