Long-distance specialist Michael Broad with broke Gethin Butler’s long-standing record for Land’s End to John o’ Groats after a gruelling two-night ride last weekend.
Broad with endured driving rain, dodging drunkards and a neck injury that left him unable to look up for the final hours of the ride to become the 12th record holder since 1886.
