Ford Ranger Raptor puts an end to hunt for perfect pickup

Today we are house-hunting. The problem is we’re looking for homes in the country and the weather isn’t good.

Even as we find the house we’re looking for, we realise that it is on a site and the way in is muddy and wet.

For t u n at e ly, we have come prepared with boots and wellies – and with the right car, too. As we make our way up a muddy track, the Ford Ranger Raptor makes short shrift of it, ploughing bullishly through everything.

Earlier in the year, I drove the Ford Ranger, which I loved, but this... is something entirely different.
