AFTER maintaining a studied silence for days even though Rajasthan has been embroiled in a political crisis for over a week now, former chief minister and senior BJP leader Vasundhara Raje on Saturday said the people of Rajasthan are paying for the “discord within the Congress”.

In a tweet, Raje said, “It is unfortunate that the people of Rajasthan are paying for the discord within the Congress.”
She said this political crisis is happening at a time when Covid-19 has claimed more than 500 lives in Rajasthan and positive cases are close to 28,000; at a time when the state is battling a locust attack; and at a time when “crime against women is at an all-time high”.
