Pokhriyal: Move To Reopen Schools Based On Situation

Union Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Friday said that the decision to reopen schools and educational institutions would be based on the existing situation at an appropriate time and the recommendation of a task force constituted for it.
Speaking to India Today TV, Pokhriyal said, “The decision to reopen the schools will be based on situation and task force recommendations.”
The minister said that the task force will consider all the safety norms and related issues before arriving at any conclusion.
Pokhriyal also made it clear that for higher education, “the new academic calendar has already been released and the final exams will be held in July”.
