KCR Seeks Longer Lockdown In State

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has called for an extension of the lockdown at least until the end of April to ensure social distancing acts as the weapon against the onslaught of the Coronoavirus.
He believes firmly, in the absence of definitive treatment, the only option to ward off the virus is to minimise human interactions for a longer period to save lives. This is on realising 453 positive cases apart from eleven deaths have been registered in the state by the morning of April 9.
