Covid 19 In MP: Too Many Casualties

The Covid 19 situation in Madhya Pradesh is grave. With 3252 cases on May 9, Madhya Pradesh stood at sixth place in India. The bigger concern in Madhya Pradesh is the high death toll. With 200 deaths among the 3341 cases, MP has a death percentage of 5.98, the third-worst in the country. West Bengal tops the death percentage at 9.53 followed by Gujarat at 6.06 percent.
The high numbers are surprising as MP doesn’t have too many travelling overseas and nor did it have a major impact of Jamat cases that had been held responsible for the spread in the early days.
