EIGHT dogs a day are being stolen across the UK - with French bulldogs and Jack Russell terriers the breeds most targeted by criminals.
A study by Direct Line Pet Insurance revealed the number of dogs stolen in 2021 rose 13% to 2,760 - a seven-year high.
