No doubt Sarries will get some abuse next season

The totally unsurprising news that Saracens slaughtered Ealing Trailfinders in the two-leg Championship final doesn’t seem to have provoked the strong reaction some might have expected.
Looking at the Premiership clubs’ supporters’ forums there are a few who fit in with Alex Sanderson’s Taylor Swift quote, ‘Haters gonna hate, hate, hate’, but most seem to have accepted the news with a mix of indifference and resignation – we knew it was going to happen, and now it has.
One difference from previous years is that there is a lack of congratulatory notes from opposition fans on the Sarries’ forum – the traditional well done, glad to have you back, messages are missing. It’s going to be fascinating to see what happens when Saracens trot out in away games next season – there will be abuse aplenty.
