“THE STATE GOVERNMENT CONSTANTLY SEEKS TECH-ENABLED SOLUTIONS TO SECURE AND PROMOTE AGRARIAN OPERATIONS”

Q The subject of farmers, agriculture and progressive scientific technologies is always close to your heart. Do tell us why?

Being an agriculturist and hailing from Mandya in Karnataka; the hub of a community of farmers, I have noticed that our farmers are well equipped with relevant information and insights on the best practices that have been passed on from generations. Backed with their passion and determination to do good to the community, they always excel at their work. The beautiful spirit of bonding keeps the farming community together always.

Q Does your background in hotel management help you in any regard?

Yes, the customer’s wants and needs should always be at the forefront. Our farmers are here to listen to their requirements and work hard to ensure that the best quality is off ered at all times. When the customers are happy, the farmers usually benefit from the association. Being an active farmer myself, I have also been a hotelier from Mumbai, Maharashtra. Furthermore, with the three hotels I own, the Solitaire, a three-star hotel; Hotel Subhash and Hotel Sai Sagar, we always have our ears to the ground to understand the needs and expectations of our farmers.

Q The public knows you as a self-made man. What has inspired you towards growth and success?
