FHM: Hey, Rachel! What are you up to these days?

Rachel: I just finished some back to back shoots for my first web series directed by Kapil Sharma, it’s a sitcom called “Love Life And Screw Ups” with a cast of Diandra Soares and Zeenat Aman. Then there’s a Bollywood project which is going on floors in November this year and I’m looking forward to it. Apart from that I’ve had my hands full with print shoots and travelling. So much fun!

How amazing was your childhood?

It was a lot of fun since I spent it with some amazing people and my time at home was spent with a large group of cousins. The rest of the time I was in a boarding school so you can imagine the scene with the strict nuns and us girls around. It was a hoot! We had a blast (sometimes literally in the chemistry lab). We went stealing guavas and sneaking out to meet boys.

What’s the fondest memory you’ve from those days?

(Laughs) I do very fondly remember being punished all the time! I was punished for slyly shaving my legs, or being punished for colouring my hair or shortening the length of my skirt or pulling the teacher’s chair from behind. I was that problem child you prayed never showed up to class the next day.

What’s the most embarrassing moment you remember from your teenage?

I remember throwing up noodles once on my uncle’s head inside a pool (haha).
