Sticking To The Roots

Everything is connected to energy, and the main function of food is providing energy, bodybuilding, and protection. Food also provides the nutrients to be healthy, and these nutrients include proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, and water.

Home is where the heart is

During a recent visit to Australia to attend the Dietitians Association Australia (DAA) 2017, I was trying to create awareness on healthy eating habits and low-cost food, seeking support from dieticians from all around the globe. During the group activity sessions, I introduced the traditional kanji-payar and idli sambar to the audience, and was thrilled to see positive responses to the traditional staples from our homeland.
