CELTIC’S 6-0 win over Partick Thistle in the City of Glasgow Cup last week was rounded off with a superb dead-ball goal when Paul Kennedy fired in an unstoppable free-kick in the 89th minute.
The 17-year-old had come on from the bench less than 10 minutes earlier when he replaced defender, Wallace Duffy and he still had time to make a personal impact on a game that was already well in the bag.
He said after the cup meeting: “It was a good game as we played really well in the first half and went four goals up.
“When I came on, I just tried to keep it tight and help to not concede any goals. I was lucky enough to get a free-kick and score so I’m delighted with that.”

I just moved recently to Cambuslang but I used to live near Kilmarnock. I went to St Ninian’s in Giffnock.
WHAT’S YOUR POSITION?
I’m a holding midfielder. I can play further forward when it’s needed, but my favourite position is just in front of the back four.
